Your Questions About Integrative Breast Cancer Care, Answered

From diagnosis to recovery, here is what patients and their families ask us most, honestly answered.

I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Is it too early to book an integrative oncology consultation?

No, in fact, the period right after diagnosis is one of the most valuable times to consult. Before you begin any conventional treatment, we can review your pathology, explain what your results mean in plain language, and discuss how integrative protocols can support you throughout whatever treatment path you choose. You do not need to have started treatment to see us.

Does this practice offer chemotherapy or radiation for breast cancer?

No. We are an integrative oncology practice, not a cancer treatment centre. We do not administer chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Our work is consultative — we review your case, provide nutritional protocols, IV vitamin therapy, and integrative support that works alongside your conventional oncologist.

My mother is in Jamaica and has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am in the UK. How do I get her seen?

This is exactly the situation we support. The easiest first step is to reach out via WhatsApp with her diagnosis details, receptor status if you have it, any imaging, and her proposed treatment plan. We can arrange a teleconsultation so you are both present. If in-person protocols are recommended, we will walk you through what that involves before she travels anywhere.

What does ER-positive or HER2-positive mean, and does it change the integrative approach?

Yes, it does. Hormone receptor status (ER/PR positive or negative) and HER2 status tell us how the cancer is behaving and what it responds to. Our integrative protocols, particularly nutritional oncology and specific supplementation, are adapted based on this information. Bring your full pathology report to your consultation and we will walk through it with you.
